Somewhere on a dance floor in Ibiza in 2001 two girls met and bonded over suntans and techno.  Fast forward a decade and nuptials and interior frippery had taken the place of partying (oh, so predictable).  Then, sadly, life and geography got in the way as they left the Big City for provincial suburbia 100 miles apart.  Having both bought Victorian houses needing a bit of TLC, they decided to keep the fires burning by sharing a blog about the process.
